New Haven Women’s Basketball Signs Three Recruits

(11-17-08) WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The University of New Haven women's basketball
team announced three recruits who have committed to the Chargers for next season.
Olivia DeMarco, Jasmine Hardy and
Nikita Reddy have all signed national letters of
intent to play at New Haven.

Reddy played for three years at Montrose Christian High School before transferring to
Northwest High School for her senior year. She was named Most Outstanding Player her
sophomore season and was the team captain at Montrose Christian her junior
campaign. A sharpshooting guard, Reddy averaged 18 points, five assists and two
steals per game last season. She also shot 93% from the free throw line and 60% from
behind the 3-point arc. An equally impressive student, Reddy has a 3.75 GPA through
her junior year.

"Nikita really impressed us with her shooting ability," Smith said. "She is the consummate
team player who does all the little things. We are anxious for her to join the program."
